Registration for the 57th Annual NAGC Convention and Exhibition NOW open!

the Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel.

Are you a Full-time Undergraduate or Graduate Student? 

NAGC members who are full-time Undergraduate or Graduate Students (enrolled in at least 9 credit hours) may register for $270. The nonmember undergraduate/graduate student registration fee is $329.

Registration Instructions

General Information     

Membership Number: You must be an NAGC member in good standing at the time we receive your convention registration to receive the member discount. There is one discount per membership. Please indicate your membership number in the space provided. If you are not an NAGC member, you will receive a one-year membership with your nonmember registration.

Badge Name: Use the space provided to indicate how your name badge should appear.

Organization: Indicate the school district or organization you represent or by whom you are employed.

Address and E-mail: Please provide a complete mailing address and an accurate E-mail where NAGC can send registration confirmations. Please indicate whether this is a home or work address.

Special Considerations: If you require special considerations to attend the convention, check the box and explain; you may attach a letter as necessary.

Pre-Convention Activities        

All pre-convention activities are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-convention activities without sufficient registrations may be cancelled in advance.

Registration Policies     

  • You may register for a Essentials of Gifted Education, Expert Perspectives, or an Action Lab, three-day Regular Convention, or any combination of these events.
  • There is no one-day convention registration.
  • Institutional members are entitled to one (1) registration at the member rate; others from the same institution must register as nonmembers.
  • Full-Time Students: In order to be considered an undergraduate or graduate student, attendee must be enrolled in at least 9 credit hours and must provide a copy of his/her class schedule. Registration form is available here, or call NAGC for assistance 202/785-4268.

Important Deadlines & Onsite Registration       

If mailing your registration: Early Registration must be postmarked by September 17, 2010. Regular Registration must be postmarked by October 26. All registrations postmarked after October 26, will be treated as onsite registrations and will be assessed a $30 onsite surcharge. NAGC does not accept faxed registrations. After October 26, NAGC strongly recommends you register online at www.nagc.org or bring the registration form with you to Atlanta.

Methods of Payment    

Full payment or a purchase order must accompany each registration. NAGC accepts the following forms of payment: Checks (made payable to National Association for Gifted Children); Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express (Please include expiration date and signature); or Purchase Orders: You must include the original PO with your registration, a number alone is not sufficient.

Cancellation Policy/Changes    

Cancellations must be received at NAGC in writing, mail, or fax no later than Tuesday, October 26, 2010, and will be charged a $75 processing fee. This fee applies to cancellations and changes to your registration. Action Lab fees are non-refundable after September 17, 2010.

All cancellations must be accompanied by a signature. E-mails are not accepted. Refund checks will be mailed after January 1, 2011. All registrations must be in the name of an individual and be accompanied by payment.
