Network members are allowed to apply for a number of competitions and awards.  Click each award for more information.

Curriculum Studies Award
The Curriculum Studes Network Sponsors an annual award for curriculum development.

E. Paul Torrance Award
The Creativity Network sponsors this annual award, which acknowledges and rewards significant contributions of individuals and groups whose work facilitates the enhancement and spread of creativity, especially among gifted children, and who are themselves creative thinkers.

Early Childhood Convention Attendance Grant
The Early Childhood Network recognizes the importance of practitioners who have direct, daily contact with young gifted children. In an effort to support and encourage the participation of practitioners in NAGC and the Early Childhood Network, two (2) attendance grants of $250 each will be awarded in this article competition.

Special Schools and Programs Article Competition
The Special Schools & Programs Network is sponsoring a competition for articles based on one of 5 topics listed here.  One (1) article will be declared the winning entry and one (1) complimentary early-bird convention registration for the 2009 NAGC Annual Convention in St. Louis, MO on November 5-8, 2009 will be awarded.

Research and Evaluation's Research Gala
The Research & Evaluation Network is seeking graduate students who are interested in sharing their completed or research in progress with an audience of interested educators and researchers, including a panel of jurors who will provide feedback on the research.  All participants in the Research Gala will have the opportunity to network with researchers in the field of gifted education, including senior scholars whose work shaped the field, representatives from higher education and other individuals seeking future job candidates.
